Section: Social platforms and channels · vk

The VK page combines the community profile, post feed, videos, and clips. Core metrics describe the main feed, while videos and clips are shown in separate blocks.

What this page includes

A metric table, worked examples, and short platform-specific notes.

How to read the examples

All numbers are illustrative. They are here to explain the formula, not to describe a specific account.

Which metrics this page shows

Metric Key Type How to read it
VK subscribers vk_count Count A direct count without extra recalculation.
Publication rate vk_ppd Posting rate How many publications come out per day on average within the selected period.

Example: PPD and rate-pair calculation

A sample scenario. The numbers below are only meant to show the formula and the order of calculation.

Inputs

  • Period: 28 days
  • Publications: 14
  • Audience: 310 000

Calculation steps

  1. Publication rate
    14 / 28
    = 0.50 posts/day
  2. Actions sum
    25 200 + 1 680 + 840
    = 27 720 actions
  3. LR (by views)
    25 200 / 420 000 * 100
    = 6.00%
  4. IR (by views)
    27 720 / 420 000 * 100
    = 6.60%
  5. LR (by followers)
    25 200 / 310 000 * 100
    = 8.13%
  6. ER (by followers)
    27 720 / 310 000 * 100
    = 8.94%

If views or audience data are missing, these metrics stay empty.

Example: median calculation

A median shows the typical value per publication. If the data is missing, dstat leaves the field empty instead of inventing a zero.

  • Value set: 4.50, 5.10, 5.80, 6.20, 8.40
  1. IR (by views)
    median([4.50, 5.10, 5.80, 6.20, 8.40])
    = 5.80%

If there are no valid values, the page shows an empty field rather than an artificial zero.

Platform-specific nuances

  • vk_ppd, vk_like_rate_by_views, and vk_interaction_rate_by_views describe the main publication stream.
  • vk_video_* and vk_clips_* are separate blocks and should not be mixed with wall metrics in manual comparisons.
  • If both old and new names appear for the same metric, follow the clearer one.
