AppGallery

Section: App stores · appgalery

AppGallery lives in the same storefront flow as the other app stores: installs/count, rating, and rating volume without a publication feed. That is why there is no PPD or feed-based rate pair here.

What this page includes

A metric table, worked examples, and short platform-specific notes.

How to read the examples

All numbers are illustrative. They are here to explain the formula, not to describe a specific account.

Which metrics this page shows

Metric Key Type How to read it
Installs appgalery_count Count A direct count without extra recalculation.
Rating appgalery_ratingValue Value Current average rating shown by the app store.
Ratings appgalery_ratingCount Count Number of ratings or reviews in the app store.

Example: app-store snapshot

For app stores, dstat does not calculate PPD, ER, or IR. These pages show direct storefront values such as installs, rating, and rating volume.

Inputs

  • Installs: 800,000+
  • Rating: 4.50
  • Ratings: 24 100

Calculation steps

  1. Installs
    Direct store snapshot value
    = 800,000+
  2. Rating
Store rating is published as a ready-made storefront value
    = 4.50
  3. Ratings
    Direct storefront counter of ratings/reviews
    = 24 100

This is not a calculated engagement metric. It is the app-card snapshot at the moment the data was read.

Platform-specific nuances

  • Key fields are appgalery_count, appgalery_ratingValue, and appgalery_ratingCount.
  • These values should be read as a direct app-store snapshot rather than an engagement calculation.
  • For AppGallery, it is especially important to use the correct app-card URL.
